The 2016 Chevrolet Camaro ZL1 carries the largest factory brake package in Camaro history — 6-piston Brembo front calipers and 4-piston Brembo rear calipers. Both are larger and sit further outboard than the hardware on base SS cars, which is the single most important fitment constraint for ZL1 wheel selection. This page covers 20x9.5 / 20x10.5 wheels with 275/35R20 / 305/35R20 tires in the +35 to +45mm offset range. The 2014-2015 ZL1 continued with the LSA powertrain and identical Brembo brake package. Hub bore remains 66.9mm on all 5th-gen ZL1 cars. The 2016 model year marked the transition to 6th-gen architecture — if your chassis plate shows a 2016 model year, verify which generation you have, as 2016 was the first year of the Gen 6 redesign. Gen 6 ZL1 uses 65.1mm hub bore versus the 66.9mm on Gen 5, and that difference will cause vibration or improper seating with the wrong centering ring specification. Running 275/35R20 / 305/35R20 on 20x9.5 / 20x10.5 wheels in the +35 to +45mm offset range requires verifying both front caliper clearance and rear caliper clearance separately — the ZL1's 4-piston rear Brembo is larger than the rear caliper on SS cars and catches owners who only check front fitment. If you are transitioning from an SS wheel package to a ZL1-specific fitment, plan to verify the rear separately even if the front measurements match.
