The 2020 Chevrolet Corvette C8 Stingray marks the most significant redesign in the model's history: the switch to a mid-engine layout fundamentally changes wheel fitment geometry compared to every previous generation. The C8 uses a 5x120mm bolt pattern with a 70.3mm hub bore and dramatically different offset requirements front and rear due to the engine-behind-cockpit packaging. Stock fitment: 19x8.5-inch front at ET+49 and 20x11-inch rear at ET+64, running 245/35ZR19 Michelin Pilot Sport 4S front and 305/25ZR20 rear. The rear 305/25ZR20 keeps a wide contact patch tight to the wheel lip — stretching to 315 or 325 rear requires arch modification given the C8's tight quarter-panel packaging around the mid-mounted engine. Front offset window: ET+40 to +54 on 19-inch, clearing the standard Brembo six-piston (355mm front) with 94mm minimum clearance. Rear offset window: ET+56 to +68 on 20-inch. The Z51 Performance Package adds 390mm front Brembo brakes requiring 20-inch minimum and 98mm caliper clearance — widely retrofitted to non-Z51 builds. C8 mid-engine weight distribution (approximately 40/60 front/rear) means rear tire performance is disproportionately critical. Maximum confirmed rear without modification: 305/25ZR20 stock; 315/25ZR20 with -1.5 rear camber. Rear inner liner gap to mid-engine cradle: 14mm at stock ride height — this is the defining packaging constraint across the entire C8 generation.
