The 2010 Chevrolet Camaro ZL1 carries the largest factory brake package in Camaro history — 6-piston Brembo front calipers and 4-piston Brembo rear calipers. Both are larger and sit further outboard than the hardware on base SS cars, which is the single most important fitment constraint for ZL1 wheel selection. This page covers 20x9.5 / 20x10.5 wheels with 275/35R20 / 305/35R20 tires in the +35 to +45mm offset range. 5th-generation ZL1 references apply here — bolt pattern is 5x120mm, hub bore is 66.9mm. The factory ZL1 supercharged LS9 (or LSA in 2012+ production) paired with the 6-piston/4-piston Brembo package requires a minimum wheel diameter of 20 inches for the front axle without caliper contact. The rear 4-piston Brembo is smaller but still demands more inner barrel clearance than a standard single-piston caliper. A commonly cited inner barrel clearance requirement for ZL1-equipped cars is 20mm minimum measured from mounting face to inner lip edge at the brake caliper pocket. Running 275/35R20 / 305/35R20 on 20x9.5 / 20x10.5 wheels in the +35 to +45mm offset range requires verifying both front caliper clearance and rear caliper clearance separately — the ZL1's 4-piston rear Brembo is larger than the rear caliper on SS cars and catches owners who only check front fitment. If you are transitioning from an SS wheel package to a ZL1-specific fitment, plan to verify the rear separately even if the front measurements match.
