The 2014 Ford Mustang uses a 5x114.3mm bolt pattern and 70.5mm hub bore — the standard Ford performance specification shared across most Mustang production years. This page covers 19x9.5 / 19x10.5 wheels with 275/40R19 / 305/35R19 tires and an offset window of +35 to +45mm. The 2010-2014 Mustang is S197 platform with a solid rear axle — and that live rear axle is the most important fitment constraint on the back of the car. Unlike independent rear suspension designs, a live axle creates a fixed relationship between tire width and suspension travel. Running rear tires significantly wider than the factory specification can cause contact with the inner wheel well during compression and with the lower control arm geometry during full droop if the width increase is combined with an offset change. The safe rear width expansion on a live-axle S197 base Mustang is typically 20-25mm beyond the factory section width before wheel tubs or flares become necessary. Front fitment is more flexible — the independent front suspension tolerates width increases of up to 40mm beyond factory if offset is adjusted to maintain scrub radius. For the 275/40R19 / 305/35R19 tire on a 19x9.5 / 19x10.5 wheel, the aspect ratio affects overall ride height slightly — a change in sidewall height will alter actual ground clearance and effective final drive ratio. The base Mustang's strut front suspension is straightforward for aftermarket wheel fitment: the primary constraints are offset relative to the strut body on the inboard side and fender liner clearance on the outboard side under compression.
