The 2020 Chevrolet Camaro covers a wide range of configurations depending on trim level — from the turbocharged 2.0-liter LTG four-cylinder base model through to the V6 LGX and V8 LT1 variants, each of which has different factory tire sizing and brake clearance requirements. The base 2020 Camaro 1LT and 2LT ship on 18-inch wheels with 245/45R18 tires, while the SS steps to 245/40ZR20 front and 275/35ZR20 rear staggered fitment. The LT1 platform constraint that catches most builders is the front brake package: the standard four-piston Brembo setup on the SS requires a minimum 20-inch front wheel, while the base V6 and four-cylinder cars use a smaller caliper that clears an 18-inch wheel. Before ordering aftermarket wheels, confirm which trim you have — mixing wheel specifications between trim-appropriate brake packages causes clearance failures. On the 2020 Camaro SS, the staggered 245/275 factory split is conservative relative to the platform capability. A 255/40ZR20 front and 285/35ZR20 rear combination fits cleanly on the stock wheel arches with 10mm of liner clearance at full bump, filling the arches more completely without any bodywork modification. Wheel offset for the rear axle on the 2020 Camaro sits between ET42 and ET50 for most quality 20x10 aftermarket options — going below ET40 pushes the 285mm rear tire into the lower splash guard. The 2020 Camaro also discontinued the 1LE package on the base model, leaving only the SS 1LE available for track buyers. The 1LE suspension components include revised alignment specs that benefit from a slightly wider rear tire — the factory negative 1.3-degree rear camber setting pairs well with a 295/35ZR20 rear on a 20x10.5 wheel.
