Debating American Racing long tube headers for my LS3 swapped Chevelle. They promise +40-50whp but I live in a state with annual emissions testing. Anyone running LTH on a swapped classic and have they caused emissions issues? Also curious about drone at highway speed and if you needed a tune after install.
Got my 2022 Mustang GT on the dyno before and after installing a Roush cold air intake. Before: 423whp / 402wtq. After: 431whp / 409wtq. That's +8whp/+7wtq for $450. Not world-changing but it sounds incredible and the car feels more responsive at high RPM. Worth it for the sound alone in my opinion. Opened the door for a tune which should be another +30-40whp.
Installed a full BMR package on my 2020 Challenger RT: lowering springs, front and rear sway bars, adjustable control arms, and panhard bar. Before the install I was running 12.9s with tons of wheel hop and body roll. After? Consistent 12.2s and the car plants hard on launch. The handling on the street is completely transformed. Highly recommend for anyone running a Challenger at the track.
Planning a full restomod on my 67 Camaro. Can't decide between LS3 and Coyote 5.0 swap. LS3 has more aftermarket support, cheaper parts, and tons of swap kits. Coyote sounds incredible, revs to 7500rpm, and is more modern. Both in the $12-18k range for a quality swap with trans. What would you do and what trans did you pair it with?
Torn between a Whipple W175FF supercharger kit and a Hellion twin turbo setup for my 2019 Mustang GT. Both are around $14-15k installed. Whipple gives instant power, simpler install, and Whipple's reputation is bulletproof. Hellion twin turbos make more peak power for the dollar but require more supporting mods. What would you choose and why? Daily driver but hits the strip 10-15 times per year.
